Electric Tea Pots vs Regular Tea Pots
When choosing the right tea pot for you, people are often faced with two major options. You can either go the old fashioned way and get a standard tea kettle, or you can keep up with the times and buy an electric tea pot. Here we try and look at the major differences between the two styles.
When people think of tea pots, they think back to what they see in the movies and in old fashioned photos. People placing a kettle on the stove top which slowly boils until the steam forces out of the opening in the pot and makes it whistle.
These pots can be aesthetically pleasing but they are unfortunately, rather inefficient. Compared to electric tea pots, standard kettles can take twice as long to boil water. In addition, they must rest on a hot plate, so they require that you have a hot plate or stove top conveniently with you, which is often not possible.
Instead, the big option today is the electric tea pot. The electric tea pot boils water quickly and will turn itself off once it reaches a boil, ensuring you won't burn your house down when you forget and leave it on. What's more, the electric tea pot simply requires an outlet to be plugged into. This means that you can use the kettle anywhere, from an office location to a dorm room.
For these reasons, electric tea pots are the way to go.
